Qu’est ce que le vernis sélectif ?
« C’est une technique d’impression qui consiste à appliquer une surbrillance sur certaines parties de l’étiquette. Elle attire l’oeil par un effet de contraste entre le support mat et l’aspect brillant du vernis. On distingue trois types de vernis principaux :
- Le vernis sélectif ; brillant et lisse
- Le vernis gonflant ; brillant en relief
- Le vernis mat pour un effet soyeux
Le vernis sélectif a l’avantage de s’appliquer sur tous types de papiers (couchés, polypropylènes ou structurés) et offre ainsi des possibilités d’ennoblissement pour tous produits, y compris ceux contraints d’utiliser des matières synthétiques de part leur utilisation (contact avec de l’eau, de l’huile…). »
Pourquoi utiliser le vernis sélectif ?
Le vernis donne un rendu très chic à vos étiquettes. Moins onéreux que la dorure à chaud ou galbée, cette finition peut convenir à de multiple l’alimentaire et la cosmétique.
On accordera une attention particulière au vernis gonflant qui, de part son relief, répond également aux besoins des non voyants pour le reproduction de braille par exemple et attire l’attention du consommateur sur les composants de produits dangereux.
Les finitions complémentaires aux vernis sélectif ?
Ces finitions peuvent être associées à tout autre embellissement (dorure à chaud, dorure galbée, gaufrage, vernis total, pelliculage). Cependant, nous recommanderons de limiter les effets pour ne pas noyer le consommateur dans une abondance d’informations visuelles.
