Qu’est ce que le pelliculage ?
Le pelliculage est un film plastique applicable sur toute la surface de l’étiquette qui répond à plusieurs objectifs.
D’une part, il permet d’apporter une couche de protection, plus résistante qu’un vernis, pour faire face aux agressions extérieures. D’autre part, il enjolive le produit en offrant différentes finitions : mat, brillant ou soft touch. Un pelliculage brillant réfléchit beaucoup plus la lumière et donne au papier un aspect glacé.
Le pelliculage mat, doux au toucher, ne réfléchit que très peu la lumière. Le soft touch, également mat, apporte un effet peau de pêche supplémentaire.
Pourquoi utiliser le pelliculage ?
Le pelliculage protège le support, le rend plus imperméable, et rehausse les couleurs de l’impression.
Ses propriétés résistantes sont optimales pour les produits nécessitant une conservation au frais, en contact avec de l’eau, du gras… Il est utilisé dans de nombreux secteurs comme l’industrie, le cosmétique.
Le pelliculage brillant est le plus couramment utilisé. Un aspect mat permettra alors de mieux se démarquer de la concurrence avec un rendu plus prestigieux.
Les finitions complémentaires au pelliculage ?
Le pelliculage est une fine couche de plastique transparent qui s’applique sur toute l’étiquette.
Elle peut se superposer à tout autre type de finition (Dorure à chaud, dorure galbée, gaufrage, vernis sélectif) pour une protection garantie.
